Certified Organic Skin Care Products
We prefer our skin care products to be reviewed by an independent third-party certifier. While there are many wonderful natural skin care products on the market, we made a decision to carry only USDA Certified Organic products.
Certified Organic Apparel
We offer certified organic and certified bamboo clothing for babies and eco-friendly baby and toddler footwear.
New Products for Consideration
If your company manufactures products that meet our Green Criteria, we would love to hear from you! Please call or email to make an appointment prior to sending any samples.
Non-Organic Items
We also offer a smaller selection of non-organic nursing bras, maternity accessories, and baby gear.
Local Green Business Associations
We are members of Respect for the Earth and All People Business Association (REAP Calgary) and Green Calgary.
In-Store Workshops
We host monthly Elimination Communication (EC) meetings with the leadership from Holly Taylor, local Calgary Mentor of DiaperFreeBaby (network of free support groups promoting a natural approach to responding to babies' elimination needs).

Reuse and Recycle
Edamame Kids has implemented a set of Green Criteria that guides the company's focus and procurement. Whenever possible, we reuse packaging materials to ship our online orders to customers.
Reusable Bag Program
We remind people to bring reusable bags to the store and we have seen a significant increase in customers bringing their own reusable bags or carrying out items without a bag since we started this program on January 1, 2012.
We charge a nominal fee (5 cents) for paper shopping bags made from recyclable paper and the proceeds benefit local Calgary organization, Made by Momma.
